I've been using Studio 8 for about 3 years to produce my home videos. I've never had a problem until recently. I've always used transitions between scenes, titles, and menus. However, when I started out, most of my videos were only about 30 minutes or so. The recent ones I've had problems with are right about at the full hour. (I'm making dvd's with best quality option by the way). When I set it all and and hit create movie, my project goes through the rendering about 3 times, and of course takes hours, then in the compiling phase it fails. The message I get simply states "failed to compile movie". I'm wondering if anyone knows what maybe the problem. When I test it, all the chapters play when they're supposed too and everything looks good. So, I'm leaning towards the possibility that when the project is so large, that all the extra transitions are screwing things up. I've tested using parts of the scenes and just putting together a 5 minute movie with menu for 2 chapters and transitions and it's fine. I know there is nothing corrupt with the film itself, so my only guess is I've just got too much stuff on it. Any suggetions or help please?
