    Which one will give better quality in DVD rebuilder?

    The quality of HC is very good for a free encoder, had it not been so slow I wouldn't have bought CCE Basic. If you don't mind the extra time encoding stick with HC. I would say I could barely tell the difference as far as quality, but it is very subjective, speed broke the tie for me.

  3. Yeah, the difference in speed is significant. CCE is approx 3x faster on my machine than HCEnc, more or less. I also find it difficult to distinguish much quality difference between the two. JMO.

    For $58 CCE Basic was 2-3 hours processing vs 5+ hours using HC in "Normal" mode, CCE Basic is cheaper than upgrading processors etc...
