There's some pretty clued up members of this forum but none of them own crystal balls (I think) much more info is needed. Programs used etc....

Many people can help ... but they might need a bit more information.

What burning software are you using ?
What are the specs of your AVI file ? (hint: GSpot and https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=271697 )
    If in doubt, Google it.

scifistars, in the future please use a more descriptive subject title in your posts to allow others to search for similar topics. I will change yours this time. From our rules:
Try to choose a subject that describes your topic.
Please do not use topic subjects like Help me!!! or Problems.
    Thanks, Moderator redwudz

You will have to give more information on what you are doing, programs used, hardware and software for anyone to be able to answer your questions. And please, try to use some punctuation. Your method of writing makes it very difficult to read and make any sense of what you are asking. Is this a hard drive, CD or DVD or DVD-RW you are asking about.?

  5. One thing to look at go to the control panel, then Administrative tools, then Computer Management. Left side Disk management after choosing that the right side will have information. If it says healthy for that drive letter, that is one thing, But I'm betting it will say At Risk, If so time for a new drive.

are you reusing the CD-RW discs? do the discs work OK for some other burning process? the error message you are getting says there's a problem with the discs... next most likely if this was working before is that you need to clean the burner lens.

  8. Or look at the bootom of the disc to se if it got dirty or scratched. Is it only one disc or all of them. Have you opened a new stack of discs?
