My Pioneer 220 has been timestamping shows in the program titles just fine for 2 years. I noticed recently though now it has the name of the show instead of the date/time. I switched from my cable company to a digitial box so that may be why it's finding the show names.
So is there a way to force the Pioneer 220 to time stamp each recording? I have no idea when the show was recorded which is critical because I'm taping the same show week after week, day after day, and without the time stamps I have no chronological order. (Even if I have to lose the show name to get the time stamp, that's fine).
TIA
Brent

I'm pretty sure the time/date is inserted only if there is no other program metadata. I don't know of a way get around this.
