  1. I'm using TMPGenc to try and convert my DivX to an XSVCD NTSC file, but everytime I do it, the picture seems to come out all screwed up. I'm just wondering if anybody can tell me the settings to have for the following sections:
    1) Profile & Level
    2) Video Format (I'm guessing its the way I want my movie to be, but just making sure)
    3) Encode Mode (I'm guessing Interlace, but again, just making sure)
    4) YUV Format
    5) DC Component Precision
    6) In the video tab: should Aspect Ratio be 1:1 or 4:3?
and finally, should motion search position be on Highest Quality?
Everything else I'm setting seems to be ok (constant bitrate, full aspect ratio, 1:1 vga for source aspect ratio, 29.97 fps, etc.) if anybody can help, please do. Thank you.
If what I'm doing is completely wrong, then plz include the steps on how to make a correct XSVCD because the instructions are unclear.

  2. What resolution are you using with that framerate?
What bitrate are you set at anyway?

  4. That's a wierd resolution, you mixed NTSC and PAL together or something?
Use 704x480, which suits the NTSC 29.97fps.
