    Hi,

I am converting avi to NTSC DVD. The avi has ac3 audio.

I demuxed the avi in VitualDubMod and got Audio.ac3 file. I've found and fixed a few bugs in the file with ac3fix (I could not multeplex it due to the bugs).

I first convert avi video with Procoder to NTSC DVD with 25 fps and then from 25 > 29.97 with DGPull down to avoid audio sync problems.

But when I multeplex the audio and video (after pulldown) with either Rejig or Muxman, the audio in the resulting VOBs is desynchronized.

What am I missing? Thank you!

does the out of sync get worse? or same the entire clip?

and are you just playing the vob file? try instead play the dvd with a software dvd player(select to open a dvd from the hd or open the video_ts/video_ts.ifo)

    Thank you, Baldrick,

I tried only separate VOBs. Never tried it as a whole DVD and that's why I cannot tell whether it gets worse or not.

Thank you for the hint. I will try it the way you recommend and see what happens.

    Hi,

I played it with DVDShrink without buring onto DVD disk. It gets worse. At the beginning of the movie video runs apprx. 6 secs ahead of audio.

At the end of the movie it is about 35 to 45 secs. It is even hard to determine how much ahaead it is.

Why is it happening? The original if fine. Is it possible possible to do something or it's a headache?

    Thank you
