    Hi,

There are many tools that can convert DV AVI to MPEG2, and there are quite a few guides on this site as well. However, I've noticed that when I've created a DVD from my DV video using Sonic MyDVD 6, the quality was crappy (even on HQ mode).

So my question is: which tool, in your experienced opinion, is the best to do the conversion from DV to MPEG2? I don't mind investing a few bucks on a good piece of software, so commercial solution is good as well.

    Thanks!

DV to MPG: Canopus Procoder or other high quality encoder.
MPG to DVD: DVD-Lab Pro or TMPGEnc DVD Author or other dedicated authoring app.
    Basically, avoid allinones.
