Hi! I've seen TONS of information about converting Google Video files to various formats and I've seen the lists of tools to use. What I haven't seen is info on taking a collection of video files and compiling them into a DVD, preferably with a chapter for each converted video file.

So, let's say I've got 5 Google video clips each 10 minutes long. I want to convert them into a DVD, with each clip having it's own chapter. I can use the tools to convert each individual clip into a DVD-Video file (or set of files) but how do I make the collection of clips into a DVD-Video image that I can burn to a disc and watch on my standalone DVD player?

    Thanks in advance!

    Peace...

With a DVD authoring program, as you would any other files you convert for DVD.

If you want a simple, all in one solution, ConvertXtoDVD will convert google video and create a DVD with rudimentary menu.

    If you want free, GUIforDVDAuthor.

Perfect, thanks! I've never burned a DVD before so this is all new to me.

I haven't tried YouTube video as the resolution never seemed worth it. At least some of the google videos have a higher resolution. I know that SUPER has no problems with YouTube, so ConvertXtoDVD should be able to read them.

Thanks. I found a "howto" guide on this forum earlier on today and I was able to convert a collection of Google videos (some GVP and some FLV) to DVD files just like I was wanting to do.

Looks like ConvertXtoDVD does all the work for me.

    Thanks again!

    Peace...
