    Hi all:

I have a strange behaviour with a subtitle.
Subtitle is named as the movie eg.: movie1.avi movie1.srt

When I play the movie on Bsplayer, and both ( movie and subs) are on the same location, I see the subs in double !!! when I play them on different locations ( I have to load the subs using the loading function on Bsplayer) I see only one subtitle displaying !! how can ??

I tried everything to change it , with no sucess.

Anyone knows the reason for this strange behaviour ??

    hilario.

  2. Hi-

When you see 2 sets of subs, BSPlayer is playing them and DirectVobSub is playing them. BSPlayer has its own subtitle engine. Just turn off the subs and then only one will remain. Or use a different player.

    Hi manono:
There is no way to remove those from directvobsub instead ??

  4. Hi-

Well, you can always go into DirectVobSub Configure and General->Loading->Do Not Load. For me, to get to DirectVobSub Configure I go Start->All Programs->VobSub->DirectVobSub Configure.

    One more question:

I have lots of movies on the same situation.

Why this only happens with this one ??

  6. Why with only that movie? Maybe the subs for the other movies are in a different format. If in IDX/SUB format, only DirectVobSub will play them (I think). Or maybe your SRT subs for other movies don't have the exact same name as the movie AVI itself.

When I was using BSPlayer for a long time, I often had text based subs in SSA or SRT formats, and I always started out with double subs. So I turned off the BSPlayer ones.
