Is there any way to open .cif audio cd image files with anything other than Roxio Easy CD Creator? I made these image files 4-5 years ago and ECDC 4 does not run on Windows XP, so I can't open these files or burn them to CD. There doesn't seem to be a software update for ECDC 4 that will update it for WinXP and I sure don't feel like spending hours installing WinME only to use it for an hour. I only have a few so it's not worth it to buy a newer version of ECDC. I tried MagicISO and it says these .cif files are not CD image files (which they are).

I just checked the old version of ISOBuster I have on this system, and it has .cif among the supported formats, so the newest version probably does, too. It should let you extract the files from the image.

Every program I try says there is something wrong with the image file, or the block size is wrong, or there's a missing file.

If I rename the file extension from .cif to .iso, Nero will burn it as one long single audio track (albeit saying the block size is wrong). But it seems to be burning the 2 seconds of index 0 data and the header info as part of the audio track, thus everything is offset wrong and I get a pop where each track should be separated. Would anyone happen to know the exact length in bytes of the header/trailer on .cif files made by ECDC 4 ? This is info everyone should know right off the top of their heads!
