Extract vobsub from protected dvd?

I just backedup the inside man which has ARcoOS protection and i want to encode it into xvid and rip the subtitles into vobsub format,but i'm having problema doing that since vobsub configure gives me a pack header error and i cannot rip them?What shall i do?

how did you rip it to the hd? try dvdfab decrypter and then fixvts.

I ripped it to iso using ripit4me 1-click wizard.

Then i mounted the iso on daemon tools and using ifo mode i extracted the title into a vob file which i am about to encode into an xvid,and i also selected main movie files and extracted in a sepereate directory so that i could open 01.0.ifo file to extract the subtitles.

For some strange for me reason your method worled,without even having to fixvts the dvdfab resulted files!

Y does the ripit4me method doesn't get the work done?
