  1. Q. Does the 'RF Out' on the back of Sky/Satellite Box's have Stereo ? ie. RF OUT 1 & 2, or would I have to use the RCA o/p's or a scart lead.....

  2. I'm not aware of any RF out on any video component, that has stereo audio.

If you really need stereo thru a RF connector...
.... use an external "stereo RF modulator".

google "stereo RF modulator" to find some.

Most UK TV's have a Nicam decoder built in for RF stereo.

  6. Some of the Nicam decorder only output "Ni, Ni, Ni, ....". and this is the reason why it happened : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_who_say_Ni

The RF out on my cable box has stereo, my TV set detects it.

  8. Look like there's still a bit of confusion, ie. maybe it depends on the type of satellite box u have, i was looking at a web site with Satellite info/help & it states that the Sky box's 'do not' have Stereo on their 'RF Out' connections. Note: i am putting my RF2 out to a 2nd TV (with TV-Link) & RF1 out is going into my PC (TV card). My stereo options are the RCA stereo out OR SCART....unless someone else can direct me !
