  1. I am sure there are many, but I need something that is proven, has many features, transitions and can create slide show with 16x9 aspect ratio that can be burned on DVD and played on a regular DVD player. It can be freeware or paid.

    Thanks.

  6. See this list of how to author a slide show;

    https://www.videohelp.com/author#3;52

    A short list of them, most already mentioned are;

    ProShow Gold
    MemoriesonTV
    Dvd slide show GUI
    Win DVD creator
    PhotoStory 3 (note needs $20 Sonic Plug in to burn)

    For quick Slide shows I would recommend the Memories onTV because of the capablity of having the show fit the length of music. But doesn't have a sound editor, Note, I am still using ver 2.2 , I believe thats changed with ver 3. I've used Win DVD creator, very tedious but better control, I am not sure about outputting 16:9 format.

    DVD Pixplay will do everything except the Ken Burns effect, and has a pleasing easy to use interface. Still only $29.95.
