    Are there any frame by frame video editting software around? What are they?

    i would like to actually edit each frame for instance, there is a suzki frontier that i pull up in, in a clip. I would like to design a porsche, take out the frontier and put the porsche in its place. That sorta of frame by frame editing i would like to do.

    I currently have vegas. The only way i think i see myself doing it is by copy a snapshot, paste it in either photoshop or fireworks, do my editing and load in vegas as a picture file. The problem there lies in how would i get the picture file to be just a frame in the video.

    One way is using VirtualDub (or one of it's variants, depending on source format). You can Save Image Sequence. Use a photo editor to edit the individual frames them pull them back into VirtualDub and Save As AVI or frameserve to an encoder.
