    I am using that great converting program and it converted my AVI to a dvd ready mpeg but the finished dvd has the audio playing before the video a little more than half a second off. What do I do to make that NOT happen?

    This can be caused by an improperly encoded AVI. It plays fine as an AVI, but as soon as you convert it to another format, the audio goes out of sync.

    If you had searched the forum before posting, you would've found this post (among many others).
