I read somewhere (maybe even the Premiere Pro help) that the Posterize Time effect can be used to give video the effect of a different frame rate, e.g. when applied using a 24fps setting to PAL video, it can give a more "film look". I have yet to try it but the effect has sparked my interest. I do have some questions though:

- What setting for the Posterize Time effect would best give a "film look" effect in FPS?
- Does my PAL video have to be interlaced or progressive? If the effect is applied to interlaced video, do I have to deinterlance the video footage during timelines export for the Posterize Time effect to work?
- After rendering, I would be encoding for DVD using TMPGEnc Plus. With the exported AVI having the Posterize Time effect applied and thus having the effect of a different framerate, do I leave the source FPS in the MPEG encoder at 25fps or do I use the framerate specified under the Posterize Time settings, e.g. 24fps?

Thank you, Im new to this effect so welcome any help.
