  1. Hi fellows, im tring to make a back up of my boys football game captured an a mini dvd.Can someone lead me in the right direction please?I want to add menus and chapters and text....Id really appreciate it....thanks

    To your left is a menu with a How To section. There you will find guides for pretty much anything you want to do with video. You can also look in the Guides forum for even more information. Failing that, you can ask specific questions to resolve specific issues. Showing you have done some of the work will go a long way when you later ask for help.

    thank you guns....i appreciate it and beleive me ive done alot of reading and downloading programs just cant seem to pick up on it but thanks anyway.....

    Tmpgenc DVD Author is probably the best beginners package for authoring. The issue is getting your mini-DVD footage into a fit state to author. I have little experience with this format, other than seeing posts here that indicate it isn't really the best for working with.

    What software came with the camera ?

    The camera is the coaches so im not sure about the software

  7. it only asks me what i want to do with the dvd automatically.....how can i rip this mini dv to my hd.

    One of the options should be to open the disc with Windows Explorer. If not, choose Take No Action, then open Explorer manually.

  9. thanks for your help guns....its working with dvd shrink...now i just got to find out how to insert text ,manus ,and chapters...

    A mini DVD shouldn't be any different from a regular dvd. Rip in file mode with DVDDecrypter and edit and re-author with TDA (add dvd video). If you want more extensive editing try MVW.
