Hi,
I have recorded something for the tv, that is in letterbox format, but with an annoying logo in the top black portion.
Is there a simple (and quick) way that I can mask out the top part of the screen without resampling ?
TIA !

without resampling? do you mean reconvert/reencode it? then no.

ok thanks.
I have VirtualDub and Womble MPEG Video Wizard on my computer.
Could you briefly explain the best one to use and the procedure.
I tried with VirtualDub (and Fill Filter Option), but ended up with an enormous file ! -
If you are making a DVD, in theory, you could use a subpicture (normally used for subtitles)to cover the logo. I don't know what tools might be able to do this though.
