I have problem with something and can't figure it out what it is. I've tried several options converting VOB files to AVI and can't get audio to work. All other movies playing just fine so I'm assuming that there is no problems with codecs. AutoGK have very limited options, so I don't see what could be wrong. VOB files are playable with my computers DVD player and the audio is just fine. Can anyone advice what am I missing?

There is one thing I just notice, but still don't know why? I opened properities for this movie and one of the oldest movies I had on my HDD for long time and I see the difference.
This one shows: Audio Format MPEG Layer-3 and the new one doesn't. I checked my audio codec and its just fine, so is there something that I missed in AutoGK or perhaps somwhere else?moved to another forum, nobody likes me here... -
I'll check it out...

Well, sounds to me like it helped a lot. Before you didn't have audio, and now you do. Say thank you to the nice man.
Asynched audio is a completely different problem unrelated to the AC3Filter.
Synch it back up:
Open the AVI in Media Player Classic. Right-click the screen and go Options->Filter->Audio Switcher->check the "audio time shift" box, and fill in an estimate of the amount of asynch. Hit "Apply" and test it out. Negative values are to make the audio play earlier. 1000 ms= 1 second. Resume playback. Adjust until you get it right. At that point you'll know how much the audio is out of synch and how much to set the delay in VDubMod. Then open the AVI in VDubMod, set the Video for Direct Stream Copy, go Streams->Stream List->Right-click the audio->Interleaving->Audio Skew Correction, and set the same delay as you found using MPC. OK your way out of there, go File->Save As, give it a new name, wait a minute or 2, and test it out.
When all done, either uncheck the box or set the audio time shift back to 0 in MPC. -
