  1. Hello all just picked up my first DVD-R burner so i can creat some custom DVDs. Only problem is ive been looking for a program to convert my .wav pcm audio to mpeg-1 layer 2 audio @48khz. Seeing as the standard of audio for DVD compliancy is 48khz, my old proccess of converting to mpeg-1 layer 2 @44khz using cdex will not work as the program will not encode to 48khz What im looking for is a simple program to convert the audio only (so i can muliplex the audio) from .wav format to the mpeg-1 layer 2 @48khz.
If anybody can help it would be greatly apreciated

  2. If your wav-source is 48Khz then you can just use toolame.exe (see the tools section) to convert it to mp2 at 48Khz.

If your wav-source is not 48Khz then you could first upsample it with Shibatch Sampling Rate Converter (SSRC). After this, use Toolame. SSRC is here: http://freshmeat.net/projects/ssrc/
