    ok all help would be grateful--
    dled some bodybuilding rm files and want to watch em on my dvd player
    ive tried all the software possible to convert em to dvd vob and i keep getting a couple of % done and it crashes
    i get buffer underflow on some proggys
    and my cpu is at 99 to 100% when i start the convert
    ive 512 mb of ram and a 2800 processor
    ive converted other formats like svcd and avi alright
    i think its because im using to much cpu and the buffer over flow makes it crash ,i may be wrong
    plz assist

    Try Winavi Video Converter. it should be able to do what you want

    Have you tried using Super for the conversion? I've used it a few times to convert rm files, and it worked very well. It's also freeware, so it doesn't cost you anything to give it a try.

    yes ive tried super and most others still same

    and yes i have looked at the guides ,is there something ive missed,i know the problems with my cpu overload

    Have you tried looking at the error message SUPER gave you? It usually attempts to suggest some workarounds or solutions.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
