Any advance users out there with this proggy know why whenever I go and click "Capture AVI" in the beginning it goes to a funny blue screen (not windows screen) with glitches on it or it comes up with message "Windows right protection error, must restart computer", then a different text with the message "Safe to restart computer now"
This program worked when I first installed, but now everytime it's this.
Running a AMD k6-533 w/ 320 ram, nvidia tnt2 43 mb/ w/ ATI tv wonder....please help!!
Thanks!

This happened to me, but only when I used the V-Dub timer (VD Start Pro I think it's called, it's on the tools list)...
It seemed to occur when you use the "load VirtualDub if not already" function, or any function at all where V0Dub is not already in Capture mode, ready to go.
I did find when you go into "Capture AVI Mode" first, then use certain functions of the timer to start/stop, it works somewhat.
If it happens the minute you click on "Capture AVI", just to enter capture mode, I'm afraid I can't help you with that one... -
Thanks, but it still is not working and now I tried AVI_IO
and it's doing the same thing...I'm thinking it has something to do with the DV update I put in for Directx8, but im just guessing....anyone??? -
That would not hurt at all... I would also try finding the latest codecs you are using now (maybe one is corrupted)...
