While trying to convert an AVI file to DVD with Nero, the conversion stops at a frame corresponding to a "still image" and cannot overcome it. Playing with Showtime or WMP there is no problem, except a very short "still". What can I do to recover the clip? Thank you.

Sounds like a bad spot in the AVI. Try getting your hands on an error free version of the AVI or try some other app(s) for conversion to DVD (convertxtodvd if you're the "one click should be enough!" kind of guy, or read some of the guides under CONVERT left for AVI to DVD - there are > 45 guides to read on this subject alone, if you're willing to learn)

Thank you. I'm downloading convertxtodvd and hope will help me. I tried before with VirtualDub but I couldn't utilize it for my problem. May be it's a bit difficult for me.
