    Hi,

I'm trying to use FFMPEGX to encde a vob file from a DVD. I am using the "iPod H.264 640w" preset and am changing the 'autosize' option in the 'video' tab to 4:3 (it default's to a widescreen ratio, which my source is not.)

When clicking encode, I get the finished 'ping' instantly and the log file has the following details:

    Code:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The "iPod H.264 640w" preset defaults to Decode with QuickTime. But QuickTime can only decode the video in VOB files if you have the MPEG-2 Playback component installed.
So, either de-select Decode with QuickTime, in order to use a different decoder engine, or install the component.
