Sony DW-D22A wont recognize Memorex dvd+r dl 2.4x disk

Hey Gang;

Not sure this was covered before ..

Did search on it and no relevant info came up ..

Anywho, my Sony DW-D22A won't recognize Memorex dvd+r dl 2.4x disk ..

It's rated at 8.5GB but sez not enpugh space for a 7.4 GB dvd9 iso files ..

The Firmware is at BYS1 so I tried to update it to BYS3 but it would'nt take it for some reason ..

Used ltnFW.exe for that ..

If anyone came across similar problems and solved it, would appreciate learning the solution ..


BTW, have no problems burning dvd-5 files ..
