  1. VDB gives me "cannot detect file type"....

DGindex first tells me my video is 1088 and might have 8 pixels of garbage.

    After that it says:
Warning! Opening GOP is not closed.
The First Few Frames may not be decoded correctly
Then it loads it, problem is, the resolution is 1280x1088 (or 1280x1080 if I said remove the 8 extra pixels)...

MeGui also produced a 1280 file...

    How do I fix this?

What's the problem? Just resize it as needed.

Hi I would use projectx for editing a .ts file and demuxing...

Projectx usally generates a big error/warning list but the out put are always OK..

If you want to rezie the .ts file you should cut out unwanted sections and demux to a (video) m2v.
and (audio).ac3 or .mp2. and rezise the video in VirtdubMOD and frameserv it to HC encoder or a faster
way is to use Avisynth and HC encoder. After encoding remmux the files with ImagoMPEG-Muxer
if you want a mpg systemfile or a vob file.

    stars....
