Cannot rip entire movie...

I am new to this DVD ripping thing, and I have tried to rip a movie using 2 different programs, everything works fine except it only rips about 3/4 of the movie, both times I have tried to do it, Any ideas?.. I am using WinXP Pro and have heaps of disk space.. All suggestions would be apprciated.

well I dont know what your doing because Ive never used three different programs and failed at what I was doing with all three.

Nero is the best program for burning vcds xvcds isos .nrg (which is a nero image) Disc juggler burns cdi files
both these apps do audio discs as well its pretty self explainitory

I don't think he got writing problem, more like ripping.
check if the movie is on different title, and select the title missing, it happens

take a cloth and gently clean the bottom of the dvd disc..try and rip again..

and also check to see if there are scratches look closely becuase there are little ones and that can really mess up your rip
