    Is there a fix for this? Virtualdub never works for me because of vbr audio.

    The 'standard' method is to save it out as a WAV and convert to CBR MP3, then add it back in before appending. If VD would let you join VBR clips, they would probably be out of sync anyway.

    Isn't there a flavour of VD that supports VBR MP3 ?

    Or maybe even Nandub ?
