I have captured a TV clip using hardware MJPEG compression.
I have been trying to cut pieces from the beginning and the ends, but when I save the edited clip, Virtual Dub saves it in uncompressed format (huge file). Is there any way I can save the edited clip to the same format it was captured in (hardware compressed from a Matrox G400.

Before saving your AVI output,
Click Video -> compression.
Select your Compression codec, configure and click OK.
Now save your output. -
Thanks
I discovered this evening that my mistake was probably not selecting direct stream processing for both audio and video. When I did this it worked great.
