I just got a ps2, and I'd like to hook it up to my wireless b router to play some games online. I realize I could buy a $100 wireless bridge, but I'm curious if that usb port on the ps2 can handle netowrk traffic. I have a Linksys WUSB11 usb adapter that I use for my tvio series 2. It's an external box with an antenna and a male usb plug. Can I use that adapter with the ps2?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I stumbled upon that little guy a few minutes ago at amazon and went ahead and bought one. Can't beat that price, compared to the other "game" adapters going for > $60.

    Thanks again!

Not sure why, but this little guy that I bought on Tuesday for 19.99 is now 59.99. Was Amazon just having some kind of awesome sale?

    Crazy.

Also, as a followup, in case anyone finds this page while searching for PS2 game adapters...

If you're ready to pull your hair out because you're 90% of the way there (WGA11B talking to the router (responds to a ping) but the PS2 can't even test the connection successfully...try a different cable between the WGA and the PS2. Apparently, that crappy cable that came with the WGA was faulty, but a different cable worked fine. Wasted over an hour researching and trying different things..."it can't THAT simple...could it?"
