First of all, I just wanna say that I am so happy to see such a great great forum for everything video related!
Anyways, Im really really really really a noob to video/dvd stuff, coz I just got my dvd-burner yesterday and learned how to rip a dvd this morning.
So I have a DVD of hostel and wanted to make a backup without all the extras.
I was able to rip just the movie vobs to a folder (thanks to the guides on this forum!)
these are the files:
My problem is, I want to make my own custom menu to navigate the movie, preferably with an audio/subtitle menu for the commentaries and a chapter selection menu.
So I searched and found this guide by petar:
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=220758
It seems excellent but I cant seem to follow it! its just too complicated for me I feel like I need more detailed steps to follow. I've reread it and I feel my heads gonna explode!
Can someone please help me step by step? petars guide didnt even tell how to import the vobs. I really am a noob and would appreciate a step by step guide from start to finish.
sorry for my english..

You may be able to do it with DVDRemake Pro. The program costs a few bucks but it is worth it. Follow this link:

I have replaced menus after combining two DVDs to one and it worked great.
