    ok Hey my question is this when i burn movies from a avi file i only get 2.1 audio now some files say they have ac3 shouldnt i be getting 5.1 audio im using older version of nero and 6.3 version of winavi im thinking that might be the problem so anyone can sheed some light this isuue thanks.

    "AC-3" is a codec which can include any number of channels. Just because it is AC-3 does not mean it is 5.1
