    I've been asked to come up with the "How To" for creating a Church Directory with photos, names and addresses. It seems a template for the layout would be the tool I need to assemble it all before taking the results to a printing service. But I'm not sure what's available .... nor the least complicated, since this is new to me. I suppose MS Word could be used ..... but I'm hoping for some ideas from the experts here!!

    Go to your printer/publisher and ask them what format/software they require.

    For the Church Directory itself, you need MS Access or similar. Use/import/create the Church Membership Database w/ pics. Use Query and Report modules to design data content and look of the Directory. Maintain Membership Database throughout the year. When it's time for a new Directory, print out a new version (Report) which will reflect the changes in the Memb DB.

    As for the How-To - screenshots and text in Word.

    Hey great ideas .... thanks. I do have MS Access so I can start there and see how it goes. I will also check with my printer to see if this format works for him. Thanks to you both .... I appreciate.
