    been looking at these cd-r disks can anyone tell me if they would be any good to record avi media and music???

    but they can be used to put audio and avi media on yes or no?

    yes, all CD-Rs are the same (they only differ in capacity, most are 80 min 700MB media. I am not sure if 72min (650MB) media is still manufactured, but be aware that it is out there. 90 and 99min media do exist but not all burners/players support them). 72min and 80min media (audio CDs) should play on just about anything.

    If you have trouble with audio (pops/clicks/skips/other audiable issues) you might try reducing the burn speed.
