Hi guys, I'm capturing my screen as a video and the program allows me to output multipule types of files. AVI is my problem
It doesnt matter what format I output from I cannot get it to Divx
VDM gives this error
video compression error: the source image format is not acceptable ( error code -2)
This is what I have tried so far
Dimensions changed to a smaller x16 aspect,
With or without audio
24bit and 16bit colour
My guess is that screen capture codecs are different in some way.
I can output to xvid (but cannot get it back to divx from there either)
I can also output to huffy but it plays back like when you play too high a frequency on your monitor (off set interlaced and flickering)
I'd just like to know whats going on, any ideas?

THANKS guns1inger, it turns out the divx registered yv12 service in my registery was set to yv12vfw.dll instead of divx.dll
========================================
Fixing divx error code 2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32\VIDC.YV12
should be set to divx.ll
