    Does anyone know if the Liteon LVW5115GHC that Costco sells has any copyguard issues? I need to be able to either record directly to the Liteon tuner or dub over from TIVO, programming from Premium Channels like HBO, etc.

    The built-in TV tuner works like a regular TV or VCR tuner, it will receive all the regular non encoded channels (no digital or encrypted channels (HBO, Showtime, etc.). To record those channels, you will have to tune in the channel on your cable box.
