Slideshow with transitions and random pic order

I am looking for a way to have a slideshow in a fullscreen browser window of many images, around 5,000. I would maybe like to do it in flash, or some other method. I would like to have it display the images in a random order, so each time you do the show it is different. Also could there be transitions between the images? Is there any freeware out there that would let me do this? Alternatively could you tell me of a way to make a link, such as open one of several files randomly? This way I could at least have several slideshows out there starting at different points, and the random link would select one of them.
