Hi i have a film that i d/loaded but it is 2 disc's and they are bin & cue files. 1. can i join they as they are or do i have to convert them first if so what would be best to use.

Extract them with ISOBuster. From there it depends on their format what you want to do with them. If they are something like Xvid or similar, use VirtualDub and 'Append' the second onto the first.
If they are MPEG and you want to convert them to a DVD, don't join. Just encode separately if they are not DVD compliant and let your authoring program put them together. You avoid a lot of sync problems that way.
