    Got loads oof avi's and divx would love to play on dvd player as vcd. But donot know which program works best and is easiest. Can anyone help this poor hopeless soul.

    Use TMPGenc, the link is in the tools section. The settings for vcd are not negotiable so if thats what you want then all you have to do is load the vcd template and hit encode. Couldn't be easier.
