Good(advance) deinterlance and resize filters

Which good deinterlance and resize filter you recommend for virtual dub.

For long time i using asvzzz deinterlance and internal vd resize, but i am now interesting in some better deinterlance and resize filter.

I always work with dv avi material and deinterlace it because in most times i am watching on computer and little watch on tv.

Try Donald Graft's Smart Deinterlace filter with the "edge directed interpolate" option.

Which option is best to select? What is most important to know?Thiss is 2.8 beta1 version



My input is Dv avi interlace(PAL) and output will be xvid.

I usually use everthing at the default settings except select "edge-directed interpolate".

With selected "edge-directed interpolate" encoding is slowly

But it's the only setting worth using.
