    This model is not made by Goodmans but another company have the right to use the Goodmans name. I believe this model is made by the same company that make Ferguson DVD's. WHY? I have managed to remove the Region Hack for this player with the same Hack for Ferguson.

    But I can't get the VCD Hack to work. My model does not have the open/close button on the remote control.

    $20 is promised to anyone who can solve this VCD Hack.

    VCD is supported through firmware, not hacks. If your firmware doesn't support it (I know that in the past many portables simply did not support the format), you will have to replace the firmware with one that does support it, if such a firmware replacement even exists. I have a feeling you'll be keeping your money.

    Could not find firmware update but model uses new IC (SPHE8202S). Any ideas welcome
