Hi again guys.
After capturing a few clips with different programs, I noticed that all of them are have a bitrate of 1536kbps.
I am using Canopus ADVC110 for the capturing process.
Isn't that a low bitrate?

The audio in a DV is 1536. The video should be 25Mbits.
How do you check the bitrate? how big are the files and what's the runtime? -
If you are using a ADVC and inputing to the computer via FireWire, you're not capturing. You are just transferring the data from the ADVC, same as from a DV camcorder. The bitrate is set by the DV format and not adjustable.
1536Kbps is the audio bitrate. The video bitrate is fixed at about 25 megabits per second (Mbps). The total data bitrate, including error protection and audio streams is about 36 Mbps
And it doesn't really matter which program you use for the transfer. They all do the same thing.
