Hi

1.I want to ask if the dvd ripper software like Imtoo is also include protection crackers to rip dvd, or i have to use seperate software?

2.is imtoo is the best? i saw it can help to rip straight to avi or mpeg, while the others only rip to vob.

3. I want to find a good video editor software, easy to use and light. I find premiere to heavy and too professional, hard to use.
Can you suggest me a good software?

Never heard of it. I'd recommend you check out DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me (both freeware and both frequently updated). DVD Decrypter (freeware, no longer updated, still useful on it own, used by RipIt4Me). AnyDVD (payware, which is what I use in combination with DVD Decrypter or Vobblanker). In my opinion (and by most here), though I've never heard of it, I'd say it's NOT the best ripper, not by far. Getting the video and audio streams out of a vob is not difficult. I think he's talking about ImToo DVD Audio Ripper, which is like DVD Audio Extractor, which i prefer and started out originally for just ripping audio (unless they make something else now ?) seem's like i may have seen something else but......

If you want free to rip protected dvd's use DVDFab Decrypter, which is updated all the time!!

If you want to spend money on something buy DVDIdle or DVDIdle Pro (which i have been testing for awhile now and works perfect everytime!!)

From the same people that give us DVDFab Decrypter for FREE instead of spending $$ on AnyDVD 8) May as well support the people that give us & update a free ripping program for any new copy protections that come out

Pretty much everything else rkr1958 listed i use and the more you want to be able to do the more you will need to learn, such as premiere, vegas, ect.

What kind of editing do you want to do ? if it's just sipmle like cutting out ad's from tv's shows you can always use TDA which will allow you to do some minor editing and author dvd's.

It helps rip dvd straight to mpeg or avi, and rip audio from video, convert between video format etc. I think it quite good because this software all in one, and easy to use. But the only think i dont know if it also included region+protection free .

2.If it not include, what is the good software to remove dvd protection+region (is that the one come from dvd idle)?.

3. I use movie edit for most common video format like avi, mpeg, just only for cut/edit.

I doubt that it would remove CSS encryption. I see it has a free download (I assume that means trial). You could download it and see.

I use Cuttermaran w/ PVAStrumento for cutting MPEG-2. I use VirtualDub for cutting AVI. All free and all great tools. There's also VirtualDubMod which operates on MPEG streams.
