I am getting these color (purple) artifacts on fast moving video. I'm using a JVC SR-V101US to a Canopus ADVC-110, Svideo, TBC/DNR on.
The artifacts were there capturing with a different Panasonic VCR without TBC too, so maybe its the source tape or the canopus.
So what are these purple artifacts in the pic? Can anything be done to correct these like a vdub filter or something?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Good point. Thanks.
If I play it on a different VCR to a TV, I can see the artifacts (paused or playing) though not as noticeable.
Its probably more a restoration issue.
Mod's, can you move this thread to Restoration? Thanks.
