    every since my mpeg-2 trial period ran out on v2.00... and after deleting the reg key for another 30 days... i don't get viable mpeg-2 video streams anymore...
    they're missing temporal data... making them unusable in DVDSP

    has anybody run into this?

    Try RegClean (freeware from Microsoft, fixing reg-errors) or download the new TMPG version 2.5...
