    hello all,

    I'd like to copy .dat file fro vcd to harddrive but there is error message: "cannot copy dat file invalid MS Dos function"

    Please how can i fix this error?

    Tiger,

    Download and run ISOBuster. It has helped me retrieve lots of dat files which I could from discs which Explorer or the Command Prompt.

    Pardon the prior cutoff. What I meant to say is that it has allowed me to copy dat files which I normally could not copy using either Explorer or the Command Prompt.
