I have a three disc, six sided box set that I would like to back up to 3 disc instead of six. I have Toast 7, MTR, DVD2ONEX and dual layer capable Pioneer burner (109). Is there a way to get 2 VIDEO_TS on to one disc and preserve both menus? Any help would be appreciated. I have never tried a dual layer disc but from reading here it seems as Verbatim Media is the only choice. Thanks again..

There is no way to make a DVD from multiple DVDs and keep the menus. That's because the videos on the DVDs must be reauthored into a new single VIDEO_TS folder. That reauthoring process creates a new menu to direct the DVD player to what's on the disc.

Also I wanted to point out that single layer DVD-Rs cost around 10-20p each, and dual layers cost at least 5 times as much. There's also the value you place on your own time - I'd highly recommend you just back up to 6 single layer DVDs.
