DVD+R problem

I'm having problems with some Sony DVD+R 8x (they're genuine Taiyo Yuden, I'm sure).

Media ID: YUDEN000 T02
The code on the inner hub: TG001162


It burns the disc *successfully*, but when I try to read it, there are no files!
When I use Nero CD-DVD Speed to check the disc, it doesn't recognize the media.
It's like there's no DVD+R in the drive.
I had 3 coasters...


I have burned Taiyo Yuden DVD+Rs before and everything was perfect.

My burner: Pioneer DVR-107D
Nero Burning ROM 6.3.0.0 (old).

Does anyone know what's happening?

What does DVDInfoPro show for unreadable discs? I had 8 out of 100 Ritek G05 which showed blank discs but only 0.03 GB free space, and those discs were simply bad. You should also update to latest Nero version which may help.

Sometimes burners get "stuck" and cannot read a disc, even ones it made, after it's been burning for a while.

Did you try the disc in other drives, or just that burner?

I updated my Nero to the latest version (7.2.7.0.), but still have problems.

This time I couldn't burn the DVD+R successfully.
The error message: "Unable to recover TOC".

What does TOC mean?
