Hi,
I'm new here and I love the info that is available on this site. I've posted my question in a few other places and have gotten no responses.
I have been using Pinnacle Studio 9 for some time now and have never had a problem with it. I was always burning onto single layer DVD-R discs. For the first time a couple weeks ago I used a new burner and DL discs. Studio did fine with it except it misplaces a menu link at the point where the first layer ends and the second layer begins. The odd thing is that Studio is also now doing this on single layer DVDs. That is, even if my movie is 1 hour long, for some reason it looks like Studio thinks there is a DL disc in the burner. I say this because even for a 1 hour movie on a DVD-R there is that slight pause in the middle of the movie that you get with using DL discs. It is at this point that Studio places a link even if I have not directed it to do so. When I look at the movie in Studio after this oddity happens during burning, the menu links are still correctly placed.
Anyone have some insight?
