Just ordered this combo and didn't have time to search for reviews before, as it was the last day for free shipping and a good discount on the site.
The LG site (http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/rc7000.jhtml) says - the version RC7000 - does play divx files but some users say it does not (like the guy who reviewd it here on VH).
The brazilian LG site has only the RC7000B version and says it plays divx files.
Maybe the B version of the combo determines if it plays or not.
Does anyone have any comment about this recorder or LG recorders in general?
I hope I'm getting a good unit.
